LEO NATASHA TSHEKO BIO

As a dedicated environmental enthusiast and climate change advocate, I have actively engaged in various projects promoting biodiversity, sustainability, and environmental awareness. With a strong academic background in environmentalism and a passion for conservation, I aim to make a significant impact in environmental science and youth leadership. My advocacy work includes participation in the “Pedagogics of Biodiversity and Environmental Sustainability” project in Finland, where I was involved in sustainable practices and biodiversity education.
I have earned recognition in environmental and youth leadership domains. As a youth Jury Member for the Wetlands Grant under the Ramsar Convention, I advocated for wetland conservation. Additionally, I served as a delegate at the World Bank Group Youth Summit in 2023, contributing to the global discourse on sustainable development. Having served as a “Hey Africa Ambassador for The Ashley Lashley Foundation, I inspired others to take environmental action. I continue to educate and empower individuals to make environmentally responsible choices, leaving a lasting impact on our planet’s future.
